1. Purpose and scope

This policy applies to learners, business customer administrators and any other authorised person using the Risk Safety Services eLearning website or LMS.

2. Individual accounts

Each learner must use their own account. Accounts and login credentials must not be shared. Learners must keep their details accurate and notify their employer/training administrator or Risk Safety Services Limited if they believe an account has been compromised.

3. Passwords and authentication

use a strong password and keep it confidential;

do not reuse known compromised credentials;

complete email verification or multi-factor authentication where required;

do not permit browsers or shared devices to expose credentials to unauthorised persons; and

use the password reset process rather than asking another user to share credentials.

4. Course integrity

complete your own training and assessments;

do not ask another person to complete a Course or assessment for you;

do not share assessment questions or answers;

do not manipulate course progress, completion records, scores or certificate data; and

do not falsify learner identity or training evidence.

5. Acceptable use

The LMS may only be used for legitimate learning and account administration. Users must not interfere with the service, probe security, introduce malicious code, scrape content, attempt unauthorised access or use the LMS unlawfully.

6. Course content and intellectual property

Course content is protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights. Users must comply with the Digital Content & Course Licence and must not copy, record, distribute, resell or publish Course content except where expressly permitted.

7. Devices and secure working

Users should access the LMS from reasonably secure, supported devices and browsers. Shared or public devices should be avoided where possible. Users should sign out when finished and must take care not to expose personal or employer training information to unauthorised people.

8. Business customer administrators

Administrators must only create, allocate or manage learner accounts they are authorised to manage. They must use appropriate permissions, keep learner information accurate and remove or amend access when it is no longer required.

9. Monitoring and audit records

The LMS may record logins, course activity, assessment attempts, completions, administrative actions and security events. This information may be used for training records, support, security, fraud prevention and investigation in accordance with the eLearning Privacy Notice.

10. Suspension or removal of access

Risk Safety Services Limited may suspend or remove access where reasonably necessary to protect the LMS, investigate suspected misuse, prevent fraud or cheating, comply with law, address non-payment or enforce the applicable terms. Where appropriate, the Business Customer will be informed of material action affecting its learners.

11. Reporting security or misuse

Suspected account compromise, unauthorised access, certificate misuse or other security concerns should be reported promptly to info@risksafetyservices.co.uk.
