1. Purpose

This Licence explains the rights granted when a customer purchases or is given access to an online Course, trial, video, assessment, document or other digital training content supplied by Risk Safety Services Limited.

2. Ownership

All intellectual property rights in the LMS and Course content, including videos, narration, graphics, photographs, animations, questions, assessments, course text, templates, downloadable documents, certificate designs and related materials, belong to Risk Safety Services Limited or its licensors. Digital content is licensed, not sold.

3. Licence granted

Subject to payment and these terms, we grant the permitted learner a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to access and use the purchased Course for personal learning or the internal training purposes of the Business Customer during the applicable access period.

Where a Business Customer buys multiple learner licences, each licence may be allocated only to the permitted number of learners. Unless expressly agreed otherwise, one licence is for one named learner.

4. Permitted use

view and complete the Course through the authorised LMS account;

complete Course assessments personally;

download documents specifically marked as downloadable;

use a completion certificate for legitimate evidence of training; and

for Business Customers, maintain copies of certificates or training records for internal compliance purposes.

5. Restrictions

Unless expressly permitted by us in writing or required by law, users must not:

share passwords, accounts or Course access with another person;

copy, record, screen-record, photograph or reproduce substantial parts of a Course;

download video/audio where no download function is provided;

publish, upload or distribute Course content on another website, intranet, social media, file-sharing service or training platform;

sell, rent, sublicense, lend or commercially exploit Course content;

remove copyright, trade mark, accreditation or ownership notices;

modify, translate, create derivative training content from, reverse engineer or attempt to extract Course source material except where the law expressly permits it;

copy assessment questions or answers for distribution to other learners; or

use the Course to create a competing training product or dataset.

6. Downloadable documents

Where a Course includes a document expressly intended to be downloaded and adapted for internal use, the customer may make reasonable internal amendments for its own organisation. This does not transfer copyright or permit resale, republication, rebranding as the customer's own original material, or removal of ownership notices unless we have expressly authorised this.

7. Assessments and course integrity

A learner must complete their own training and assessments. We may suspend access, invalidate a result or withhold/revoke a certificate where there is reasonable evidence of impersonation, account sharing, cheating, manipulation or other misuse.

8. Certificates and verification

A certificate may be used by the learner or Business Customer as evidence of completion. Certificate numbers, QR codes or verification pages must not be altered, fabricated or used to represent completion by a different person.

9. Accreditation and third-party material

Where a Course carries third-party accreditation, approval or licensed material, any associated trade marks, logos and materials remain subject to the rights and conditions of the relevant owner. Customers and learners receive no right to use accreditation logos independently of the Course or certificate.

10. Termination of licence

The licence ends when the applicable access period expires or where access is terminated in accordance with the eLearning Terms. We may suspend or terminate access for material breach of this Licence. Termination does not affect rights or obligations that by their nature continue, including intellectual property restrictions.
